Marjory Basso and Kathleen Casey started Chicago Lymphatic Massage in 2016. Both are certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapists from the Klose Training which teaches the Vodder Technique. Both have advanced training from Madge Lockwood CLT of Lymphatic Massage Works who studied at the Damp School in Germany and continues to teach Manual Lymph Drainage in the Chicago area. Marjory and Kathleen have been affiliates of Lymphatic Massage Works.
In addition Marjory Basso and Kathleen Casey have studied and trained in Marnitz Therapy which often is taught to MLD therapists in Germany.  Marnitz Technique is a unique deep massage therapy that focuses on key zones of the body to bring relief to muscular pain and tension. The technique employs small specific strokes to muscles and tendons without inflaming tissues. Important for people with lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency, fibromyalgia, autoimmune conditions, elderly or just prefer a different kind of massage.
